Getting to Know the WWI Memorial
Live orientation tours August 9-12, 2021
You are invited to join the Doughboy Foundation at the WWI Memorial the week of August 9, for an exclusive live: “Getting to Know the Memorial” orientation tour, led by Theo Mayer, Chief Technologist for the Foundation.
There are 4 scheduled events each day, Monday, August 9 through Thursday, August 12.
Everyone is welcome, especially those involved in the Washington, DC visitor and tourist support sector, including: tour guides, volunteers, tour operators, visitor centers, local hotels, as well as interested locals and tourists.
There are 16 scheduled sessions and plenty of room.
Location
The National WWI Memorial in Washington, D.C. is located on Pensylvania Ave. between 14th and 15th street NW.

The orientation will be presented to participants using the
WWI Memorial "Visitor Guide" smartphone app.
So make sure your smartphone, or your Pad is fully charged and get ready for a unique tour of the WWI Memorial and "How WWI Changed America".
