The Foundation supports and encourages planning and execution of programs, projects, and activities commemorating and educating the public on America's role in World War I, "The War that Changed the World."

It is our goal to create a daily event at the WWI Memorial that becomes a part of our National Capital's ethos and experience for both locals and visitors to enjoy in the reverent and beautiful atmosphere of the National WWI Memorial.

The new National WWI Memorial in Washington, D.C. is a 21st century homage to a cataclysmic 20th century event. It is fitting that we are using the tools of the future (Augmented Reality) to remember these transformative events of the past.

We are promoting an annual bell tolling at 11am local each Nov. 11th (Veterans Day) when in 1918, the guns fell silent and local bells tolled for an armistice on the Western Front. It is a moment of reflection and honor for those who served in WWI.

There are no living veterans from WWI. Our national and personal connection to this key event that changed our world is through our ancestors. We offer Debra Dudek's 100-page research guide for free, allowing anyone to explore their heritage.

We offer a self contained WWI website and 20 page WWI history eBook to teachers and learners. The website can be downloaded from our site, and we will soon have a physical thumb drive version. This is free to teachers and learners.
